Out of France comes an interesting leak pertaining to the Apple iPhone 6. Nowhereelse.fr, which has had some some pretty reliable calls in the past, is revealing a Quick Start insert for the next iteration of the iPhone. If you've purchased a new smartphone in the last few years, you've seen the Quick Start insert show you how you can master your phone quick enough, to take it out in public without embarrassing yourself, within minutes after purchase.
NWE says it received the insert from sources out of China. Last year, the same source turned over a similar Quick Start insert for the Apple iPhone 5s, just hours before Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced the handset on stage.
This year's insert is a lot less colorful than the ones seen in previous years. NWE's editor Steve Hemmerstoffer, was told that the design matches the box of the Apple iPhone 6, which is a plain white box with the word iPhone 6 printed on the lid. For some reason, this year's box for the iPhone is said not to show an image of the phone on it.
The 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6 is expected to be unveiled on September 9th. Besides confirming that date for the unveiling of Apple's next iPhone model, there are some other things that would be proved if the Quick Start guide is real. One would be the elongated volume buttons, the continued use of Touch ID, a new placement for the sleep/wake button on the right side of the phone, and the continued use of the Lightning button.
We would still recommend generous application of salt from your shaker. In this day and age, printing out fake guides and inserts is a snap. That doesn't mean that these images aren't real, it just means that you should be cautious until the phone is officially unveiled.
